Tougher materials that are designed to last

At Affinity, our products are made with durability in mind.

Our window and door frames are made from hard-wearing aluminium, which means there’s no cracking or warping over time. They arrive at your home in one of six powder-coated colours (extended colour range available on request) —not just so they look great, but to extend their lifetime even further. Our fixings, joints and core elements are all metal with minimum plastic components, which means they’re not going to break after a couple of years’ use.

Where we do use plastic parts, it’s only in cases where metal material isn’t practical.

Industry-leading quality

And it’s not just our materials that are designed to last.

Each one of our products is put through rigorous, independent testing by Azuma Design in Sydney. Our windows and doors go up against a series of wind pressure tests to ensure they’re rated to N3 (residential) or higher (commercial).

Built for the Australian climate, every Affinity Windows product is tested against Australian Bushfire Attack Level (BAL) ratings, and are manufactured to achieve a BAL 29 in compliance with AS 3959 and AS 3959:2018 – Construction of Buildings in Bushfire Prone Areas. This ensures their ability to survive high-risk bushfire situations.

In fact, our products actually exceed many areas of AS 2047 – (Current) Windows in buildings – Selection and installation. Which means that when the standards are amended in a few years’ time, your property will still be compliant.

Better security

We know how important it is to feel safe and secure in your home. So we provide a range of security screens that accompany our windows and doors, which are made with robust, top-quality, stainless steel or aluminium mesh. Each screen is installed using tamper-proof fixings, making it extremely difficult for someone to remove the door or pull it apart.

They’re safer from the inside, too. When specified, our window security products can include a specially-designed dedicated fire escape security screen, which means you can still exit your home in an emergency, without compromising your safety any other time.

This is security and peace of mind in one.

• A unique sliding stacker door for residential use, which delivers a door with commercial-grade specifications to homes around Perth.
• A standout in the market, we have also created a columnless sliding door design. This products allows you to create ultra-clean indoor-outdoor spaces, with sliding glass doors that meet in a corner—but with no door columns interrupting your flow in or out of your home.
• We’ve also developed a unique self-draining door sill solution that helps to improve wheelchair access for homes. Proprietary technology, our smart solution avoids the typical bulky grate system in doorways which typically drain away rainwater. Instead, our design is sunk down level with the concrete and plumbed directly into the home’s pipes. This ensures any water can sluice away through the drainage system, and creates a frictionless doorframe that allows for smooth wheelchair access.
